Luxury Yacht Wine Tours

Specialized wine tours for those who enjoy the luxury of a yacht and want to relax on board a vessel cruising between the islands.

Wine tours are available from the islands of Mykonos and Paros to Santorini or a combination of all three of them.  Point of departure is either Paros/Antiparos or Mykonos island.

Santorini is a unique destination that attracts millions of visitors every year mostly for it's wonderful volcanic landscape. Apart from those beauties, the island has to offer two distinctive PDO* wines: Santorini appellation consisting of 3 local varieties (Assyrtiko, Aidani and Athiri), and Vinsanto appellation a sweet wine made mostly from sundried Assyrtiko grapes. Assystiko is the main variety of the island. The combination of volcanic soil and microclimate gives a unique character in all local varieties, making them famous all over the world.

Paros is another very beautiful island located in the center of Cyclades complex, and was one of the oldest wine productions centers in Ancient Greece. Here you can also find two PDO* wines: Paros appellation that are a blend of the white variety Monemvassia and the red variety Mandelaria (It is the only appellation in Greece that allows white and red grapes in the production of red wine). The second appellation of Paros is Malvasia Paros, a sweet, barrel-aged wine, made from sundried Monemvassia in a mixture with Assyrtiko.

Maximum group size:

  • 4 passengers from Paros/Antiparos with the RIVA 68"AMALI yacht.
  • 6 passengers from Mykonos with the RIVA 68" EGO yacht.

Other tours are also available with Athens as a point of departure (port of Agios Kosmas):

  • One or two days tour to Kea island with optional stop to Cape Sounio (just beneath the temple of Poseidon).  Kea (also known as Gia or Tzia) is a small island of Cyclades located south east of Attica peninsula, just one hour and a half away.  It's not a destination for wine tours, but it's certainly a destination for quality food and yacthing trips near Athens.  Try seafood and fish with Greek white wines, Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, Malagousia or other.
  • One or two days tour to Hydra and Spetses.  Both islands are located in the Saronic golf, approximately two hours away from Athens and share a strong maritime culture.  In 2007, a National Geographic Traveler Panel of 522 experts, rated Hydra the highest of any Greek island (11th out of  111 islands worldwide) as a unique destination preserving its "integrity of place".  Spetses is another picturesque island nearby.  A main characteristic of the island is the complete absence of private automobiles in the town limits.  Instead you can move around with a horse-drawn carriage.  The Poseidonion Grand hotel, build in 1914 and renovated in 2009, stands in the port entrance to remind us of another era when high society and royalty of the time spend their vacations.  The quayside tavernas are there for an excellent fish tasting experience.  Don't miss the lobster in tomato sauce with pasta, perhaps paired with a fresh Agiorgitiko, a "nouveau" style wine from Nemea region.

 Maximum group size:

  • 4 passengers from Athens with the LADY ELECTRA yacht.
